Santa Cruz Film Festival Announces its Call for Entries
Now in its tenth year, the Festival seeks films and videos that explore and creatively express an awareness and appreciation of the human condition, individual self-exploration, and eco-humanitarianism… and some that are just plain fun.
The Santa Cruz Film Festival (SCFF), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the support and promotion of moving image arts in California’s Greater Monterey Bay Area, announces the call for entries for its tenth season, May 5-14, 2011. One of the largest and most prominent cultural events in the Central Coast, SCFF is committed to showcasing new moving image art from around the globe, and blending it with one-of-a-kind interactive experiences featuring local artists, dancers and other live performers. The Santa Cruz Film Festival invites the public to join the launch of its 9th season at the annual Kick-Off Party and Benefit Auction on Saturday, March 13th, 7 pm, at the Mill Gallery, 131 Front Street in Santa Cruz, California. Santa Cruz Film Festival Enters Ninth Season Under New Leadership
New Team Leveraging 8 Years of History to Carry the Festival into a New Era
The Santa Cruz Film Festival, an annual celebration of independent cinema and culture in California’s Greater Monterey Bay area, has undergone a change in its leadership structure for its ninth season, May 6-15, 2010. Festival Founder and Executive Director, Jane Sullivan, has taken a sabbatical, leaving a dedicated group of experienced Festival veterans and its Board of Directors to take the reins.
