Bringing a World-Class Film Festival to Downtown Santa Cruz for California's Greater Monterey Bay Area
Bringing a World-Class Film Festival to Downtown Santa Cruz for California's Greater Monterey Bay Area.
The Santa Cruz Film Festival is dedicated to supporting the artists of today and the filmmakers of tomorrow. We don’t just present great independent films and videos, we produce an entire cultural event that is based on a unique blend of moving image, art and audience interaction. By incorporating live cultural performances with film screenings of diverse subjects and ideas, we create an experience that reaches across the many demographics in the Santa Cruz community and beyond. When you support the Santa Cruz Film Festival, you help us fulfill our goal to “present quality films for a quality life!”
The Festival has a history of strong support from the local community - and it gives back! Over the past decade SCFF has screened over 1100 independent films and videos including over 200 locally-produced works to nearly 95,000 enthusiastic and dedicated film lovers. This major community event has generated over $1 million in revenue for the Santa Cruz area.
We invite you to sponsor and look forward to joining with you as partners to present the 2011 Festival.
The Festival Trailer: SCFF produces a promotional trailer that thanks our sponsors by name. This trailer is played before each screening and is seen by thousands of Festival attendees. The trailer is also broadcast on Community Television of Santa Cruz County, posted to the Festival’s website, YouTube, Facebook, MySpace, Vimeo and some of our partners’ websites ensuring thousands of additional views.
The Program Guide: More than 45,000 Program Guides are circulated in partnership with our major media sponsor that covers most Bay Area counties and blankets Santa Cruz County in the weeks leading to, and during, the week of the Festival.
Posters, Postcards and Print Ads: Hundreds of Festival posters go up across eight California counties. Print, radio and television announcements start running in March to over 70,000 households.
Digital/Online: SCFF utilizes the most current digital marketing strategies including website promotion, its 16,000+ name email mailing list, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and MySpace. Marketing communications will begin regularly in March leading to, and through, the Festival.
TV, Radio: SCFF partners with TV and radio media outlets for weeks of ads, PSAs, interviews, and basic news coverage ranging from network and cable broadcasting networks to community access television.
Cultural and Educational Non-Screening Events: The Festival is known for providing diverse, interactive community experiences that include excellent film screenings followed by scintillating conversations with attending filmmakers. Watching a film at SCFF often includes alignment with an outside event such as a panel presentation, workshop, seminar, musical event, artist performance, and more. Please ask about how we can design a custom event aligning your company with a film or film category that relates to the work of your business.
In addition to maximum promotional opportunities, SCFF sponsors enjoy significant benefits.
